I opened my eyes, and there I was lying in bed in me and Tara's house. I was in pain. It felt as if a truck hit me.

"He's awake," Genevieve shouted to Tara.

Tara came running upstairs. "Ricky, try not to move too much."

"What happened?" I asked Tara and Genevieve. "The last thing I remember is staring at that enormous crocodile right in the eyes."

"You fainted, and then the crocodile had you its jaws," Tara replied. "You're armor bought you just enough time before Genevieve arrived."

"It was chomping on you, but your armor was protecting you from being pierced by its large teeth," Genevieve said. "I stuck my spear right in the croc's eye, and then it dropped you out of its mouth and went into a panic frenzy."

Tara gently placed her hand on my face. "While the enormous crocodile was in a panic, me and Genevieve were able to escape and carry you out of the cave."

"You two saved my life," I said. "Thank you."

"We're glad that you're still with us," Genevieve replied as she gave me a gentle pat on the shoulder.

"You have to take it easy for the next little while, Ricky," Tara said. "You're alive, but you have some severe injuries."

"Yeah, no more caves for a while," I replied. "By the way, where is my armor?"

"Although your armor saved you from the jaws of the croc, it was torn apart in the croc's mouth," Genevieve said. "It wasn't wearable anymore, so we threw the armor out."

"Oh well," I replied. "I guess I'll just have to make some new armor then."

Tara came on the bed beside me and gave me a hug, "Yes Ricky, but not before you get some rest."

Well, I'm glad to be alive. I'm probably gonna be in pain for a while, but I'll get better as time passes. There was something in that croc's lair. It looked as if it were some kind of a door. Before we face the queen crocodile again, we're gonna have to come up with a good strategy to defeat it beforehand.
