It had already been a few days now, and I was already beginning to feel a lot better. I was able to make some of the tools that I lost in the cave. I already had a spare sword and shield, so I didn't need to make those. Me, Tara, and Genevieve even decided to do a little bit of hunting. I needed the hide so that I could make my armor. We started off by hunting some giant turtles.
"Awesome job, ladies!" I shouted. "You two did most of the work."
"I'm loving this," Genevieve yelled. "If we ever find a way back to Willow Creek, I'm totally taking up hunting."
Tara looked over at me. "How are you feeling, Ricky?"
"I'm good," I shouted. "I'm not 100 percent, but I'm not having any troubles holding this sword and shield!"
"Right on!" Tara yelled. "You'll be fully recovered in no time."
Genevieve looked into the distance and spotted another giant turtle. "There's another one over there. Let's go kill it!"

After hunting turtles, we went to the shore and took down a giant crocodile.
"Ouch!" I shouted. "That bastard snapped at me pretty hard."
"You're bleeding, Ricky," Tara yelled. "Just stay back for now. Me and Genevieve will finish off this fight."
I backed away from the crocodile so that the girls could fight it by themselves. Tara launched a few more arrows into the croc, and Genevieve finished it off with a few sharp pierces through its body with her spear.
Genevieve jumped up in the air full of excitement. "Another one bites the dust!"
"You ladies are on a roll today," I said. "Good job."
Tara walked over to me and placed a cloth over my bleeding wound. "Ricky, I think you should take it easy on the battles for a little while."
"Tara's right, Richard," Genevieve said. "You're still recovering, and you don't want to make your injuries worst."
"Yeah, I know..." I replied.

After processing the crocodile, we returned to Felicia. I have to admit that going hunting probably wasn't the best idea given my circumstances.
"Ricky, you're holding the side of your stomach," Tara said.
"Yeah, it's a bit sore," I replied. "I'll live though."
"You should get some rest," Genevieve said.
"Really, I'm good," I replied. "What doesn't kill me makes me stronger!"
Tara jabbed her finger into the side of my stomach.
"Ouch!" I yelled. "Why did you do that?"
"I love you, Ricky," Tara said as she looked at me with a smirk on her face.
Genevieve laughed.
"I love you too, Tara!" I replied as I gave her a dirty look.
Tara laughed.

Anyways, I'm doing better, but I still got some recovering to do. Getting injured by that croc earlier today was a setback though. I guess I'll just have to take it easy for the next little while.
