Searching for Stephon and Brian

After a good night's rest, me and Tara got up and gathered our provisions while we waited for Genevieve to get back from scouting the area. Once Genevieve got back, we then continued on with our search for Stephon and Brian.

As we were searching through a grassy and forested area, we took out a mutant and slew a group of giant turtles.

"These mutants and turtles are beginning to bore me," Genevieve said. "Give me a challenge!"

"Well, there's always the queen crocodile in the cave by Felicia," I replied with a smile across my face.

Genevieve laughed. "Right!"

"Oh, Ricky," Tara said. "She meant a realistic challenge."

"Come on, I was joking!" I replied. "Anyways, we should probably process these turtles and continue searching for Stephon and Brian."

After processing the giant turtles we continued to move forward and ended up stumbling upon a bandit camp.

"Look out!" I shouted. "Here come some bandits."

The bandits came running at me and began to attack. They both focused their attacks on me.

"They really don't like you, Richard," Genevieve shouted as she was attacking the bandit with the hammer.

"I can see that!" I yelled.

"Watch out for that spear, Ricky," Tara shouted.

As the fighting continued, Tara went and took cover in the bush and began to fire her arrows at the bandits. Genevieve focused her attacks on the bandit with the hammer while I was trying to block and dodge both of the bandits' attacks while swinging at whichever one was closest to me. For the most part, I did a pretty good job at evading and blocking their attacks. I only received a couple of minor injuries. As the fight continued, I eventually landed a fatal strike on the bandit with the hammer.

"One down, and one more to go," I shouted.

"Nice strike, Ricky!" Tara yelled.

Genevieve pointed her spear to the remaining bandit. "Let's take that scumbag down!"

The bandit with the spear was still focused on me. As I was letting the bandit attack me and blocking his attacks to tire him out, Tara joined me and Genevieve at close range. Me and Genevieve then began to strike back at the bandit while Tara pulled out her sword to wait for the perfect attack. When the opportunity came, Tara pierced her blade into the bandit's body putting an end to his life.

"And that's the end of him," Tara said.

Genevieve cheered Tara on. "He won't be waking up."

You're just as deadly with that sword as you are with the bow," I said to Tara. "Good work!"

Tara pulled her sword out of the bandit's body. "Thanks, Ricky. Thanks, Genevieve."

We continued onward from the bandit camp through the area. We ended up taking a path up a hill and saw a mutant running towards a pair of female bandits that were holding large hammers. As the bandits tried to fight off the mutant, the mutant exploded and injured them. The bandits then saw me, Tara, and Genevieve and came charging at us with their hammers.

"We got some more trouble!" I shouted.

"Let's take them out!" Genevieve shouted.

Tara looked towards the bandits. "Look out, Ricky. They're running towards you."

The wounded bandits approached and attacked me. I managed to dodge the first wave of attacks, but one of the bandits hit me a couple of times with their hammer on the second set of attacks.

"Damn it!" I shouted. "That fucking hurt!"

As Tara was moving into the distance to begin firing her arrows, Genevieve went into a frenzy and starting rapidly swinging and jabbing her spear at the bandits. First, she took out the one that hit me with the hammer, and then she pierced the other bandit right through the throat with her spear. The bandit fell to the ground dead.

"And stay dead, bitch." Genevieve said to the dead bandit.

"You didn't even give me enough time to fire an arrow!" Tara said to Genevieve.

I looked at the bodies of the two dead bandits. "You sure made a mess out of them, Genevieve!"

"Meh, they were pissing me off," Genevieve said.

Without delay, we continued to move on. As we traveled through the area, we saw a structure in the distance. It was hard to tell what it was because it was so far away, but it definitely looked like something that was built by someone or something. After briefly examining the structure, we ran into a mutant and put an end to its life. We then went down a hill and entered into another grassy and forested area.

"Well, I think it's time to take a little break," I said. "What do you ladies think?"

"Yeah, let's take a break," Tara replied.

"Works for me," Genevieve said.

Well, out of all this searching and fighting, we still haven't had any luck in finding Stephon or Brian yet. I have to say that me and Tara got really lucky when we found Genevieve when we did. Hopefully, that same luck will happen again and help us find our friends soon.
