Dark and Rainy

Me, Tara, and Genevieve continued searching for Stephon and Brian through the grassy region. The sky became dark and gloomy, and it was pouring rain. We took out a bandit and ended up near what looked like a large bandit outpost sitting on top of a cliff.

"It sure is looking pretty miserable out here," I said.

"The clouds are rather quite unsettling," Tara replied. "Also, I think this is the first time we've seen any rain since we've been here in this future time and world."

"Look over there on top of the cliff," Genevieve said as she pointed her finger.

I looked towards where Genevieve was pointing. "It looks like a large bandit outpost."

"It could also be a settlement," Tara suggested.

"There's only one way to find out," Genevieve replied.

"Well, let's go get a closer look at it," I said. "There's probably a path nearby that can take us up the cliff."

Could that outpost really possibly be a friendly settlement? I have my doubts, but it's worth a try to see if we can find out. I have to admit that it would sure be nice to meet some friendly inhabitants of this future time and world who could possibly help and give us some answers.
