Me, Tara, and Genevieve were making our way back to Camp Silverwater. We were walking down the shore. As we traveled, we slew a hyena, a giant lizard, and a giant crocodile along the way.
"Once we get back to Camp Silverwater, I guess we should continue on with the construction of it," I said.
"That's probably a good idea, but what about Felicia?" Tara asked. "As far as we know, bandits could be raiding it."
"Yeah, that's the problem of having multiple outposts with only so few of us," I replied. "We just can't be everywhere at the same time."
"Maybe one of us should stay in Felicia while two of us continue to build Camp Silverwater," Tara suggested. "Any defense is better than no defense."
"I wouldn't mind watching over Felicia while you two continue to build the camp," Genevieve said. "If any bandits even come close to Felicia, I'll take them out."
"Are you sure, Genevieve?" I asked. "If bandits did decide to raid Felicia, it could be extremely dangerous, especially if you're by yourself."
"The ones we fought so far were all wimps," Genevieve replied. "I'll be fine."
Genevieve has always had that assertive tough girl attitude ever since I've known her. She's the type of gal that won't take any shit from anyone.
"Alright, I guess we'll leave you in charge of looking after Felicia," I said.
"Thanks, Genevieve," Tara responded.
"No worries, Tara," Genevieve replied. "I won't let you two down."
"Alright, so we'll stop at Camp Silverwater first to evaluate our supplies, and then we'll take you to Felicia," I said to Genevieve.
"Sounds good," Genevieve replied.

We continued moving through the area, and then we reached the part of the river where we had to swim across. I began to swim to the shore on the other side.

As I continued swimming to the shore on the other side, I heard some yelling. I looked back and saw Tara and Genevieve fighting a bandit. So, I turned around and swam back to help them. The three of us quickly took out the bandit.
"See, they're wimps!" Genevieve said as she laughed.
"It's a shame that they always seem to resort to violence rather than to try to make peace," Tara replied.
I looked at the dead bandit. "They choose their fate."
We swam across the river to the shore on the other side and continued to travel back to Camp Silverwater. We encountered a giant lizard and a bandit fighting each other.
"Look over there," Tara said. "It's another fight between a giant lizard and a bandit."
"Shall we sit back and enjoy the entertainment?" I asked.
"Nah, let's just go kill both the lizard and the bandit fast and move on," Genevieve replied.
Genevieve rushed in and began to attack the giant lizard with her spear while Tara fired her arrows into it from the distance. The giant lizard knocked Genevieve over with its tail, but she quickly got back up and continued to attack it with her spear. I went straight for the bandit and struck him a few times with my blade. He dropped to the ground dead. I then joined Tara and Genevieve in attacking the giant lizard, and we quickly put an end to it.
"That giant lizard was pretty swift with its tail," Genevieve said. "Did you two see how it knocked me over?"
"Yeah, it swept you over pretty easily," I replied. "You were pretty quick to get back up though."
"I wonder if these creatures are poisonous," Tara said. "When we saw that bandit get killed by one of these things when we were in the area last, it looked as if she was dying from some kind of toxin that was injected into her when the lizard bit her as opposed to a direct physical attack from the creature."
"Now that I think about it, I think you're right, Tara," I replied. "There was even a long delay from the time the giant lizard bit her to when she fell to the ground dead."
"I guess we'll just have to be extra careful around these things," Genevieve said.
We continued to travel through the area for a while longer, and then we stopped to set up a camp so that we could take a rest.
"The rain, it's so soothing," Tara said.
"I like the rain," I replied. "It's refreshing."
Genevieve opened her hand and let a few drops of rain land in her palm. "I remember those super stormy days we used to get back in Willow Creek."
"Oh yeah!" I replied. "The thunder used to get so loud too."

Well, me and the ladies are just relaxing right now. We're gonna continue heading back to Camp Silverwater in a few hours. Once we get there, we'll evaluate our supplies, and then I guess me and Tara will take Genevieve back to Felicia so that she can watch over the area.
