By the time me, Tara, and Genevieve were done taking a rest, the night was beginning to fall upon us. We continued on our way back to Camp Silverwater. As we traveled through the area, we reached the spot where it was time to take another swim.
"The map on my phone is showing that we're getting close to Camp Silverwater now," I said. "We just have to swim through here."
"Well, let's go for a swim," Genevieve replied.
"Let's go!" Tara said. "I love swimming."

We were swimming down the river as the night continued to become darker. The stars were shining bright in the sky.
"It's getting pretty dark out now," I said.
"The stars look so nice in the sky," Tara replied. "This whole scene reminds me of the night when you proposed to me on the beach in Sulani back in 1994."
"Did I miss something?" Genevieve asked. "You two are engaged?"
Me and Tara haven't told Genevieve or any of our other friends that we were engaged yet, but since Tara mentioned it, I guess now was a good time to share the details with Genevieve.
"Yeah, I proposed to Tara back in Sulani not too long after we had that New Year's party at the end of 1993," I said to Genevieve. "I brought her out to the beach on a beautiful starry night, and then I asked her to marry me."
"He was a romantic heartthrob that night!" Tara said as she winked at me.
"Congratulations, you two!" Genevieve responded. "If we ever find a way back to Willow Creek 1994, we are totally going to go to the Blue Velvet to celebrate with some drinks."
"Thanks, Genevieve," I replied. "I sure wish we could have those drinks right now though!"
Tara and Genevieve laughed.

We swam a little further through the river and finally reached land. We were attacked by a couple of giant crocodiles. We put an end to them and continued moving.
After a long day of traveling, we finally made it back to Camp Silverwater.
"Well, we're back," I said. "We should probably get some rest because we're gonna have a long day heading back to Felicia tomorrow after we evaluate our supplies."
"I welcome sleep," Tara replied. "I'm exhausted."
"Yeah, I'm a little tired myself," Genevieve said. "It's been a long day."

The ladies are asleep now, and I'm just sitting outside and thinking about that giant we encountered. That thing was so enormous. It made the queen crocodile look like an ant. We are all lucky to be alive right now because of Tara's quick and tactical thinking. This future time and world is so unpredictable and dangerous. You just never know what to expect...
