After finishing up with the walls yesterday, me and Tara spent the rest of the day just taking it easy. We got up fairly early today and began building the tower with what materials we had leftover from building the walls. Of course, we didn't really have much so we had to go do some material gathering.

As we were gathering stone, we encountered a lot of giant turtles including one that was darker and appeared to look possessed similar to that deer and giant hyena we encountered a while ago. We put an end to them and moved on to gather some more stone.

"I wonder what's up with these possessed-looking variants to the creatures in this world," I said.

"Something must be doing this to them," Tara replied. "But what could it be?"

"I don't know, but we've sure seen a lot of strange shit since we've been here in this future time and world," I said.

Me and Tara gathered some more stone for a while longer, and then we began to pack the stone up to bring it all back to the camp. I was packing up the stone that I gathered on top of a cliff while she was packing up the stone that she gathered from below, and then out of nowhere a giant turtle came charging at her.

"Are you alright down there," I yelled to Tara.

Tara aimed her bow and shot an arrow into the giant turtle. "I'm fine, Ricky!"

After Tara fired several more arrows into the beast, it fell to the ground dead.

"Good work, Tara!" I shouted.

"Thanks, Ricky!" Tara yelled.

After me and Tara brought all of the stone back to the camp, we went out to gather some wood. As we were gathering some wood, we were ambushed by a couple of bandits. We fought the bastards and put an end to them.

"Good strike on that other bandit, Tara," I said. "He ain't waking up."

"These bandits are really starting to anger me," Tara replied as she was wiping blood off her face.

"I can see that," I said as I pointed to the dead male bandit with a large gash across his neck.

Tara laughed. "Well, he shouldn't have been swinging an axe at me!"

"I love you, Tara," I said as I smiled at her.

Tara winked at me. "I love you too, Ricky!"

Well, me and Tara just finished up with gathering all of the wood that we need for now. We're just gonna relax for the rest of the day, and tomorrow we'll continue to build the tower.
