Me and Tara stayed inside the house and talked while we waited for the owner of the home to come home. It was getting really late into the night, but the owner still hadn't arrived.
"I wonder where the heck the owner of this home is," I said. "It's pretty late now."
"I don't know, Ricky," Tara replied. "I am getting a bit sleepy though."
"Yeah, me too," I said. "Maybe we should just crash here tonight."
"We may as well," Tara replied. "Hopefully, the owner won't mind."
"I guess we'll find out!" I said. "Anyways, I don't really wanna sleep in these dirty clothes."
"Me neither," Tara replied. "Maybe we should search the drawers for some sleepwear."
"Why not!" I replied. "I'm sure the owner wouldn't mind!"
Tara laughed.
Me and Tara searched the drawers for some clothes to sleep in. I found checkered pants, and she found fluffy pants and a tank top. We changed into the new clothes, and then I took down the curtains that were around the bed because they looked like they were going to fall off anyways. Me and Tara then sat on the bed and talked for a bit more.
"I can't believe we're actually here in the world of the far past, Tara," I said. "The events surrounding this whole situation are just so puzzling."
"Tell me about, Ricky," Tara replied. "I've been trying to make sense of all of this ever since we arrived in the world of the future."
"We have to try and find some answers," I said to Tara. "But I don't even know where to start looking."
"Me neither, Ricky," Tara replied. "I wish I did know where to look though."
Me and Tara sat on the bed in silence for a few moments, and then my eyes felt like they were gonna close all by themselves.
"Alright Tara, let's get some sleep," I said. "I can't keep my eyes open anymore."
Tara let out a yawn as she got underneath the blanket. "Good night, Ricky."
"Good night, babe," I replied to Tara as I got under the blanket.

I was almost asleep, but I was alarmed by the sudden movement of the blanket. I'm now sitting here half uncovered. Tara pulled more of the blanket towards her in her sleep. I can't help but smile. After what we've been through over the last while, it's nice to see her getting some good rest.
