Building the Camp

Me and Tara returned to the location where the house used to be with the resources we gathered, and the first thing we built for the camp was a campfire.

"Well, at least we'll be able to keep warm when the night comes," I said to Tara. "I guess we should start building some shelter next."

"Where to start," Tara replied. "For now, we should probably make a tent and then start working on something better afterwards."

"Yeah, that's a good idea," I said. "While we're working on something more feasible, at least we would have the tents to sleep in for the meantime."

As I was standing there admiring the work me and Tara did on the campfire, she brought up the time when we first built a campfire back in the world of the future.

"Ricky," Tara said. "This reminds me of when we first built a campfire back in the world of the future."

"Hah!" I responded. "Yeah, I remember our first campfire there."

"You know, Ricky," Tara said. "We've sure learned a lot about survival while being in the world of the future," Tara said.

"Yeah, we did, Tara," I replied. "The experiences we've had together in the world of the future have made us stronger."

Tara was right when she said that me and her learned a lot about survival while being in the world of the future. Heck, we were just two ordinary people living a normal life. We went from being ordinary people to survivors defending ourselves from bandits and other creatures in the world of the future.

I was thinking to myself about some of the experiences me and Tara had together in the world of the future, and then I remembered when we first started building Felicia.

"I remember when we first started building Felicia," I said to Tara. "Before we left the world of the future, we got quite a bit of work done on it."

"It took a lot of hard work, Ricky," Tara said. "Now we have to start all over!"

I laughed. "Well, hopefully, I'll be able to find a way to bring us back to the world of the future soon so that we're not here too long."

"I hope so," Tara replied. "I just want to go back there and rescue our friends and then return home again as quickly and easily as possible."

"Same here," I responded.

I really do hope that I can find a way to figure out how to use my gift of time as soon as possible to rescue our friends from the world of the future and to bring us all back home to Willow Creek 1994 because I really need another fucking drink.
