Back in the World of the Future

Me and Tara were drifting through space and time, and then we saw a world in the distance. As we were drifting closer to the world, we were also aging. As we continued to drift even closer to the world, I ended up losing consciousness. The next thing I knew was that I was lying on the ground slowly regaining my consciousness. I heard a familiar voice shouting at me.

"Richard, wake up you mother fucker," Stephon shouted.

I opened my eyes and saw Tara, Genevieve, and Stephon standing next to me.

"How are you feeling, friend?" Genevieve asked.

"My head hurts," I replied. "Other than that, I feel fine."

I looked towards Tara.

"We're back in the world of the future, Ricky," Tara said. "Genevieve and Stephon found us lying here on the ground."

I got up from the ground and examined the area. We were in the same spot where the portal used to be, but it was no longer there.

"What happened to the portal?" I asked. "This is the same spot where it used to be."

"I couldn't tell you, bro," Stephon replied. "Me and Genevieve were unconscious, and when we regained consciousness, you, Tara, and the portal were gone."

"The last thing I remember before going unconscious was seeing a face in the portal," Genevieve responded.

"Yeah, I remember the face too," Tara replied to Genevieve. "After seeing the face in the portal, Me and Ricky saw both you and Stephon lying on the ground unconscious just before we got pulled through the portal."

"So, that's what happened to you two," Stephon responded to Tara.

"Yeah, we were pulled through the portal," I said to Stephon. "However, I forgot about seeing that face in the portal."

Until Genevieve brought it up, I completely forgot about seeing the face in the portal. It makes me wonder though. Who's face did we all see in the portal that night? Also, how long were me and Tara gone for?

"How long were me and Tara gone for?" I asked Genevieve and Stephon.

"About a few days," Genevieve replied.

"Yeah, as Genevieve said, it's been about a few days," Stephon responded. "Until you just told us, we weren't sure what happened to you two, so we just stuck around the are just in case you and Tara would show up."

So, the whole time that me and Tara were gone, it had only been around a few days. I guess it made sense because we were only back in Willow Creek for less than a day, and we only spent a total of a few days in the world of the far past, also known as British Columbia.

"Where did the portal take you two for the last few days?" Genevieve asked me and Tara.

"Oh, do we ever have a lot to share with you and Stephon," Tara replied.

"Yeah, it's a lot to share," I responded. "But for now, we should probably head back to Felicia, and then me and Tara can catch you two up on the details once we get there."

"Yeah, let's get the hell out of here," Stephon said. "We can get the details later."

I don't know how the hell me and Tara managed to get back to the world of the future other than time bringing us here again, but I'm not complaining. It's good to see Genevieve and Stephon again, and I'm glad they're well. Now that we're all together again, I need to find a way to bring us all back to Willow Creek 1994. Anyways, we're just about to head back to Felicia now. We'll figure out what we're going to do next once we get there.
