We set up a campfire and chilled for a bit. We didn't have much firewood, and I was feeling all warn out from that dark vision and the incident that happened shortly after me and Tara returned here. The mental and physical pain had drained me. So, as I sat back, everyone else went to collect more firewood.

While everyone was collecting firewood, I was sitting back and relaxing with my little buddy Tigger. I spent some time thinking about the whole darkness experience, and then I decided to create a journal entry about it on my smartphone.

As I was creating the journal entry, I was also reading it out loud. I do that quite often when I write or type stuff out. Anyways, I didn't realize Tara got back from collecting some firewood. I thought she was still with Genevieve and Stephon. She ended up hearing everything that I said when I was reading my journal entry out loud as I was creating it. She told me that no darkness or demon will ever kill me because she loves me and that she will never let anything happen to me. I was comforted by her words. Through such dark times, it is sure nice to have a girl who really loves you and will take care of you.

Me and Tara talked for a bit, and then a little while later, Genevieve and Stephon returned with some more firewood.

"Here we go," Genevieve said as she placed the wood that she collected on the ground.

Stephon dropped the wood that he collected on the ground. "I think we should have enough wood to last us for the night now."

"Thanks for letting me get some relaxation time while all of you went out and gathered the wood," I said. "The mental and physical pain that I experienced earlier has completely drained me."

"Not a problem, brother," Stephon replied.

"It's all good," Genevieve responded. "I hope you feel better soon."

Tara hugged me. "No worries, Ricky."

Me, Tara, Genevieve, and Stephon stood by the campfire, and Tigger made himself comfortable next to us. We were talking about some of the good old times we experienced together back in the Willow Creek years. Man, we sure had a lot of fun together in those days.

"We'll find a way back, and we'll have those good drinking days again," Stephon said.

"Oh yeah!" I replied. "Endless drinking!"

"Just thinking about it is so painful," Genevieve responded. "I could really go for a glass of vodka right now."

"When we get back, I would like to take another trip to Sulani," Tara said. "Me and Ricky had such a good time together there."

"We sure did, babe," I replied to Tara. "That dolphin!"

Tara laughed.

Well, it's just me and my little buddy, Tigger, now. Everyone else has gone to sleep. I can't stop thinking about that dark experience I had. It's bothering me so badly... I hope that one day I will find a way to defeat it. Anyways, we have to depart from Camp Oasis as soon as we get up, and we still have a fair amount of distance to cover before we get to Felicia. So, I should probably try and get some sleep myself. Hopefully, I won't feel so drained anymore once I wake up.
