Taking a Rest

By the time me and Tara made our way back from the shore with the water, it was already early in the morning. We were both pretty tired, so it was rest time.

"It was a pretty long day," I said to Tara. "I guess when we get up, we'll do some more resource gathering and make some more progress on the outpost."

"Sounds good to me, Ricky," Tara replied.

Me and Tara went to lie down in the grass next to each other.

"Do you miss Sulani yet?" I asked Tara.

"I miss having a nice comfortable bed to sleep on," Tara replied with a smirk across her face.

I laughed. "Yeah, we gotta build one of those soon."

Tara held my hand. "What matters the most is that we're here with each other, Ricky."

I kissed Tara and told her that I loved her. She told me that she loved me too. We talked for a bit more, and then we both became very drowsy.

"Alright, babe," I said. "I'm gonna pass out soon."

"Me too, Ricky," Tara replied. "Have a good rest, my handsome man."

"You too, my little sweetheart," I responded.

Me and Tara both laughed.

"Nights, Ricky!" Tara said.

"Goodnight, Tara!" I replied

Tara just passed out, and I'm about to pass out myself. We have a pretty busy day ahead of us. We're going to continue doing some more resource gathering, and we're also going to get some more work done on the outpost. I'm hoping that me and Tara will be able to finish the second level of the structure by the end of the day.
