I Lost the Gift of Time

Me and Tara are still at Rocky Point Shore. We were talking, and I told her about how I think that I no longer have the gift of time.

"I don't think I have the gift of time anymore," I said to Tara. "Shortly after we were brought here by the vortex, I tried to bring us back to Sulani, but nothing happened."

"Does that mean we're going to be stuck in this future British Columbia forever?" Tara asked.

"It's quite possible unless there's another way to travel through time such as a portal like the one in Glimmerbrook," I responded.

Over the last while, it was my gift of time that continued to bring me and Tara back to Willow Creek 1994 when time took us to the world of the future, the world of the far past, Chilliwack 2001, and Willow Creek 2001. I don't know why I lost it, but I do have a feeling that The Keeper of Time may have something to do with this.

"If we had to be stuck somewhere other than Willow Creek 1994 forever, I would have to say that Chilliwack 2001 would've been the better place," Tara said.

"Yeah, I agree," I replied. "Or the world of the far past."

It is the sad truth. Without the gift of time, me and Tara really could be stuck here in this future British Columbia of ruins forever. With all the demons and an upcoming prophesied apocalypse, maybe it's just better that way. I wouldn't want any of this to follow me and then something bad to happen to Willow Creek 1994 or anywhere else.
