Me and Tara were going down the path that led to the ruined structure, and we were talking about how the path reminded us of the path that led to the portal back in Glimmerbrook 1994.

"Doesn't walking down this path remind you of all the times we walked down the path to the portal in Glimmerbrook?" I asked Tara. "The whole area is just so similar looking."

"Yeah, it does, Ricky," Tara replied. "Maybe there'll be a portal up ahead near the ruined structure!"

"That would just be too easy!" I responded. "We don't have that kind of hope and luck."

Me and Tara laughed.

Me and Tara continued down the path to the ruined structure, and out of nowhere, another wild beast dog attacked us. We took it out pretty fast though.

"That's another one down," I said. "Damn dogs!"

"Tell me about it," Tara responded. "Maybe it was these beasts that were responsible for those three deaths."

"Yeah, it's quite possible," I said.

Me and Tara continued towards the ruined structure. When we got close to it, a bandit started charging at us. After a quick skirmish, we put an end to the bandit.

"A bandit," I said. "I bet it was bandits that were responsible for the three deaths and not the wild beast dogs."

"I guess we have some unfriendly survivors of the calamity," Tara replied.

"It appears so," I responded.

Damn bandits. Besides demons and other creatures, we also have to worry about bandits now. I remember how much of a pain they were back in the world of the future. Me and Tara will have to be prepared to defend the outpost because they'll probably end up raiding it at some point in time.
