The Demon Tower

Me and Tara are on the top of the outpost tower. We wanted to get a nice view of the area. I can't help but keep looking at that demon tower that's just ahead of us...

"That demon tower is just so bothersome," I said to Tara. "Looking at it is a reminder of how dark things really are right now."

"Things may be dark, Ricky," Tara replied. "But together, we will find a way to defeat the demons and put an end to the darkness."

I continued to look at the demon tower. "I hope so..."

I'm just thinking about all of the demon visions that I've had over the last little while, and I can't help but feel this overwhelming amount of hopelessness. I don't know. I guess I have to try and strengthen my mind. Tara's so full of hope and determination and believes that we can defeat the demons and put an end to the darkness, but I'm the opposite. I just feel so damn hopeless...
