Me and Tara set out on our second attempt to get to the center of British Columbia to get an observation of the tower Harper was talking about. We took a different route than the last time.
"Hopefully, we'll have better luck getting to the center of British Columbia taking this route," I said.
"Hope and luck, Ricky!" Tara replied.
"Yes, hope and luck!" I responded.
Me and Tara laughed.
We were making our way through British Columbia's wilderness, and we saw what looked like a bridge and an outpost in the distance. Me and Tara figured it was just another bandit outpost that was beside the bridge, so we decided that we were gonna go take a closer look and prepare to attack some bandits.
"Getting across that bridge will bring us closer to the center of British Columbia," I said. "If there are any bandits in the outpost beside the bridge, we shouldn't have too much trouble taking them out."
"Alright then, Ricky," Tara replied. "Let's make our way to the outpost and bridge."
While we were making our way to the outpost and bridge, we were attacked by a wild lynx. It took us by surprise, but we quickly put an end to it and continued traveling towards the outpost and bridge.
"I didn't see that bugger coming," I said.
"Such a swift and sneaky cat," Tara replied. "It's a shame we had to put it down though because it was such an adorable looking big cat."
"If only it acted adorable," I responded.
Me and Tara laughed.
When we made it close to the outpost and bridge, me and Tara weren't greeted by bandits. We were attacked by a heavily armed guard in full armor. He was throwing flasks of explosive fire at us. We were forced to retreat.
"That ain't no bandit," I said.
"He is well too armed to be a bandit," Tara replied. "Perhaps he thinks we're bandits."
"It's possible," I said.
Me and Tara were able to escape the guard and ended up in some forest. As we were traveling through the forest, we heard a loud roar that sounded like it came from a large monster that was near us. We couldn't see what made the roar, but we ran as fast as we could and safely made it out of the forest.
"I wonder what the hell made that roar," I said.
"I don't know, Ricky," Tara replied. "But I'm glad we were lucky enough not to encounter it."
"Yeah, it probably would've went bad," I responded.

Me and Tara are now out of the forest and are continuing to make our way to the center of British Columbia. We're getting closer.
