Setting up a Small Outpost

Me and Tara have spent the last little while working on the new outpost. It's just gonna be a small one. So far, we've built a house and an elevator that goes to the top of the cliff near the outpost. Me and Tara built the elevator because we plan on exploring the area on top of the cliff, and the elevator will provide easy access to the area. Now, me and Tara are currently in the process of building a workshop facility. We only have a carpenter's bench built so far, so we still have much work to do before the workshop facility is completed.

Event:

Me and Tara took the elevator we built up to the top of the cliff. We are exploring the area. There are lots of wolves. We are hunting them. We are making our way through the area. There are more wolves, and there are more cliffs that go higher. Me and Tara slew the wolves. There's another wolf. It's coming down the cliff. It looks different. Its eyes are glowing with fire. The wolf is attacking me and Tara. We are trying to defend ourselves, but the wolf is so overpowering. It's killing us. I'm down and badly wounded. Tara has collapsed and fallen to the ground. She looks like she's in so much pain. I'm bleeding so badly. I'm beginning to faint. I see that demon, the one that gets into your mind. It's telling me that I'm going to die...

I'm fighting back against the demon. I force it out of my mind. I'm fighting back against death. I feel time flowing through me. Time is beginning to reverse...

Conversation:

Tara: Ricky, we're still here. We're also back where we were a few hours ago. I really thought that the wolf was going to be the end of us.

Richard: So did I, but it looks like I was able to use the gift of time and reverse time at the last moment. Did you notice something different about that wolf?

Tara: I did. It was larger than the other wolves we encountered. It also had fiery eyes. I could sense so much darkness around it. I suspect that it was a wolf that was corrupted by the demons.

Richard: That's what I think as well. While I was fighting back against death, I saw that same demon. It was the one that gets inside of your mind. Once again, it was telling me that I was going to die. I think the demon corrupted the wolf and used it to attack us with demonic force to try and kill us.
