Saved by the Gift of Time

So, I was able to save me and Tara from death by using the gift of time and reversing time a few hours earlier before we encountered the demonic wolf. After the demonic encounter and the near-death experience we had, me and Tara decided to hold off on the exploring and head back to the outpost.

"We'll have to come back and explore another time," I said. "After our encounter with the demon wolf and our near-death experience, I think it's best if we just head back to the outpost for now."

"I agree, Ricky," Tara replied. "Let's get out of here."

As we were making our way back to the outpost, me and Tara were attacked by a bear. It was a brute, but me and Tara managed to take it out.

"That fucker sure took a lot of hits," I said.

"Bears are tough," Tara replied."

"Are you okay, babe?" I asked Tara. "It looked like he slashed you badly with his claws."

"It hurts, but I'll survive," Tara replied.

"Alright, but if we encounter any more wildlife or creatures, leave the fighting to me," I said. "You just focus on getting better."

"Never!" Tara responded. "I'm not going to let you fight alone, Ricky!"

"I'll be fine, babe," I said.

"No!" Tara shouted.

"Okay!" I said. "We can fight together."

Tara chuckled.

After traveling for a bit, me and Tara made it back to the outpost.

"Alright, babe," I said. "Let's just take it easy for the rest of the day."

"Sounds good to me, Ricky," Tara replied.

I'm glad that Harper was right about me still having the gift of time. Otherwise, I don't think me and Tara would be here right now. The problem is that I don't know how I was able to use it. It's almost as if it activated on its own. I'll have to talk to Harper about this sometime.
