Saved by the Gift of Time

Me, Tara, and my little buddy Tigger were out gathering resources, and out of nowhere, a demon wolf attacked me. At the last moment, just before death's door, I was able to activate the gift of time to reverse time once again.

"That was close," I said to Tara. "I didn't even see it coming."

"Neither did I, Ricky," Tara replied. "Apparently, Tigger didn't either."

"It's a good thing that the gift of time seems to activate at the last moment," I said. "I'm still not sure how, but at least it's working."

These damn demon wolves. They appear and attack with little to no warning, and they do some serious damage.
