Exploration and a Beast Made of Stone

The next day, me and Tara explored more of the area around Camp Havenmeadow again. By the time we were done exploring, it was nighttime. While we were on our way back to Camp Havenmeadow, we spotted ruins in the distance. We decided to check it out, and we were attacked by undead minions. We took them out without much trouble though.

As me and Tara were leaving the ruins, a large beast made of stone just appeared out of nowhere. It attacked us, and our weapons were useless against it. There was no chance that we would win that fight, so we had no choice but to run.

Me and Tara did safely escape the rock beast with only minor wounds. I wonder though. How would you take down such a creature without explosives or modern-day tools? Clearly, that beast was the product of some higher being. Of course, I would suspect The Keeper of Time himself was the one who created it.
