They keep coming. Wave after wave, the creatures of horror just keep coming. The creatures that we've encountered are those from nightmares. Shadow beasts, a spider abomination, and other creatures of horror. It's becoming overwhelming. Me and Tara have to continue onward to the destination though. If it will help us save reality and our existence, then we can't stop now.
Event:
Me and Tara are continuing to make our way to the destination as we fight through waves of creatures of horror. Suddenly, a dark fog swarms over me and Tara. Reality is being twisted into a nightmare.
"I can't see anything," I say to Tara.
"Neither can I, Ricky," Tara replies. "It's so dark."
An image begins to form in the darkness. I see my father trying to fight something. It's something so terrible, but I can't quite see it.
"Do you see that, Tara?" I ask. "It's my father, and there's something attacking him."
"I do, Ricky," Tara replies. "He looks like he's struggling so badly."
A horrible and terrifying abomination forms in the darkness. It's worse than anything I've ever seen. It's worse than anything from a nightmare. I look in horror as the abomination overpowers my father. My father perishes.
"No," I shout. "Dad."
"I'm so sorry, Ricky," Tara replies.
The horrifying abomination looks towards me and Tara.
"So, that's what happened to my dad in the world of the present," I say to Tara. "That dimensional abomination took him, and now it's coming for me."
"We'll defeat it, Ricky," Tara replies. "Together, we are strong enough to defeat that nightmare."
The dark fog and the dimensional abomination vanish. Me and Tara continue to make our way to the destination.
Logbook Entry:
The abomination that took my father was a dimensional horror that causes your mind to rot from the inside out. It twists your reality into a tormentation of horror and nightmares. It's now coming for me. How does one defeat something so horrible and overwhelming? It just seems so impossible...
