The Memories of Us and Chilliwack

Me and Tara just made it back to the outpost. We're just standing outside of it and reflecting back on the memories of us and our home, Chilliwack.

"Our home may be no more in this future British Columbia, but it still exists in the past," I said to Tara. "Let us remember Chilliwack of the past."

"And that's where our story began, Ricky." Tara held my hand. "The past."

I hugged Tara. "And this is where our story is today."

Me and Tara talked about some of the experiences that we shared together and that we could remember back in Chilliwack of the past. Talking about the memories of us of those days brought some light on the darkness of our current situation.

"It's those memories that we have to hold onto," I said to Tara. "The memories and our love will be our light through the darkness that's coming."

Tara placed herself up close to me. "Our love will defeat any darkness, Ricky."

Me and Tara's love is why we're still here today. It's our love that will defeat the horror and nightmares and the demons. We will defeat the Endbringer.
