A Decision

Me and Tara are just in my bedroom. I told her about how the captain wanted me to go on a mission with her to retrieve another artifact. I told Tara that I was totally up for the task. Besides, I think taking on a mission so soon would help my reputation at Constellation, especially since I'm a new member here. So, I decided that I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna help the captain on her mission.

What do you think about this, babe?

Tara

Ooh, artifact hunting? Count me in! Nothing says "date night" like cosmic treasure hunting. What's our first move, space cowboy?

Richard

I'm not sure. The captain hasn't told me anything about the mission yet. Perhaps I should ask her if you can join Constellation as well.

Tara

Oh, that'd be stellar! Team Tara and Richard, official space agents. We'll be the cutest duo in the cosmos. What's our squad name gonna be? The Star Strikers? Galactic Guardians?

Richard

How about the Crusaders of Time!

Tara

Ooh, Crusaders of Time has a nice ring to it! We'll be like time-traveling superheroes with matching capes.

Richard

Haha! Well, it's kinda true. Just look at everything that's happened over the last while.

Tara

Right? Our lives are basically a sci-fi series at this point. Next episode: "The Cappuccino Chronicles" featuring two caffeine-fueled time warriors!

Richard

Right! Lol! Keep in mind, Tara. However, no matter what side tasks we may take here, we're still here for a reason. We need to find the answer to how to defeat the Endbringer.

Tara

You're totally right, babe. Cosmic coffee breaks are fun, but that Endbringer's still our main target. Let's stay sharp and keep those detective hats on!

Richard

Yeah, we have to. If we fail to defeat the Endbringer, our existence will end. Just remember what I told you about my vision of the final days.

Tara

That vision still gives me chills. But hey, we've beaten the odds before. This cosmic creep's just another challenge to conquer. Let's show it what happens when love fights back!
