The Research Room

Me and Tara woke up at around 1-2 AM. Somewhere around there anyways. Everyone else in the headquarters was still sleeping, so we decided to explore around. We found what appears to be a research room. We're just looking at all the high-tech computers and such. The technology in this far future is just so amazing.

Richard

Just imagine if we had this kind of technology to use back in British Columbia of the future.

Tara

Oh man, think of all the trouble we could've avoided with a few laser tools and force fields back then! Those creatures wouldn't know what hit 'em.

Richard

Or even the traveling. A spaceship would have saved so much time traveling around British Columbia of the future.

Tara

True! Could've zipped over demon hordes instead of hiking through them. Our poor boots would've thanked us.

Richard

Yeah, the demon and horrors. We've sure faced quite a bit of them.

Tara

Remember that time we had to outrun that giant snake? A spaceship would've been handy then! Still, made for a good story.

Richard

That wasn't even too long ago. Those artifact weapons sure helped a lot when we confronted that giant snake for a second time!

Tara

So, babe, think these computers can help us track down that Endbringer? Maybe run some cosmic algorithms or something?

Richard

Not sure. Also, I don't think we're ready to confront the Endbringer just yet. We need to find a proper way to defeat it.

Tara

Fair point. Maybe we should dig through these files for clues? Or see if there's a "Defeating Cosmic Horrors for Dummies" manual lying around.

Richard

Right, lol! Well, ultimately, I think the battleground will be in British Columbia of the future once we're ready to face it. More specifically, in the land of horror and nightmares.
