Back at the Headquarters

Me, Tara, and the captain just made it back to the headquarters. The captain wants to place the artifact on that thing where I placed the other artifact on when I first arrived at the headquarters, the thing that made an energy globe or something. I don't know what it's called, hehe!

Well, let’s follow the captain inside and see what happens when we place the artifact on that thing.

Tara

Love, I’ll stay close and watch our backs. That device could be volatile. Ready to move when you are.

Richard

Yeah, probably a good idea. Who knows what that energy orb, or whatever it is, is capable of doing. It’s best to take precautions.

Tara

Love, agreed. I’ll keep my disruptor handy, just in case things get sparky. You want me to scan the orb first, or let the captain handle it?

Richard

Well, you can’t really scan it because it only seems to activate when an artifact is placed on the device.

Tara

Love, got it. I'll stay alert then. If things go sideways, I'm ready to pull you back. You think the captain knows what to expect?

Richard
