Me, Tara, and Genevieve sat down and talked about plans for a while. We all agreed that the Endbringer is the biggest threat of The Final Days, but that doesn't mean that the second coming of the falling stars and the nightmare apocalypse aren't critical threats either. We're gonna have to deal with them as they come. For now, me and Tara are gonna continue searching that demonic vault that's near here for more artifacts. We're gonna need them for all situations, including when we finally try to tackle the dark dimensional tower to get the even more powerful artifacts that we hope will help us defeat the Endbringer. Genevieve and Tigger are gonna stay behind and guard Chilliwack.

Richard

Well, we can tackle the demonic vault tomorrow if you want, babe. Since we just returned to British Columbia of the future, do you just wanna spend some time together?

Tara

Sounds perfect. Let’s take tonight to regroup, maybe find a quiet spot by the ruins. We’ve earned a moment to breathe, yeah?

Richard

Yeah, let's go find a spot by the ruins, the old Chilliwack, our home. It will be nice to reflect on the Chilliwack we used to know. Let's just make sure we find a safe spot. There are abominations roaming there.

Tara

Alright, let’s find a quiet corner near the old schoolyard. I’ll keep watch while you relax. Just say the word if you spot anything moving in the shadows.

Richard

Yeah, it would be nice to chill at the ruins of our old school and reminisce on our past, but I’m thinking maybe we should just stay out of the ruins of Chilliwack altogether and find a quiet spot near it. It’s too dangerous to go in there right now since I’ve been afflicted with the Endbringer’s mind rot.

Tara

Good point. Let’s steer clear of the ruins for now. There’s a creek nearby, remember? We could settle there, stay alert but still have a moment to breathe. I’ll keep my blade close, just in case.

Richard

Yeah, we should be fine there. Maybe we could even go for a swim.

Tara

A swim sounds refreshing. I’ll check the water first, make sure it’s safe. You relax on the bank while I scout, okay?

Richard

Heh, sounds like a plan. You’re always looking out for me, babe.

Tara

Always, love. Can’t have anything sneaking up on us while we unwind. The water looks calm, but I’ll double-check for any nasty surprises.

Richard

Yeah, it did look pretty calm the last time we were there. Alright, let’s go!
