Almost There

Me and Tara are almost at the creek. We can see the ruins of Chilliwack in the distance. To think that used to be our home. Now it's destroyed and roaming with horror and nightmares. Well, at least we're rebuilding it. The new Chilliwack will be our new home.

There’s the clearing. The water looks clear, too. Should we check for tracks first, or settle in right away?

Richard

No need to look for tracks. I think it should be safe there. It sure looks safe from here. I don’t see any wildlife or anything.

Tara

Sounds good. I’ll follow your lead, then. The path ahead seems clear, at least. No movement in the brush.
