Me and Tara were heading back to Felicia. We found a path that took us down the cliff by the giant bridge, and then we saw something in the distance.
"Look at that, Tara," I said. "It looks like a giant mutant."
Tara looked over to see the giant mutant. "I wonder why it's just standing there."
As me and Tara continued to examine the creature, it turned its head and saw us. It then came charging at us.
"We've been spotted. Here it comes, Tara," I shouted. "Get ready for a fight. This one looks tough."
Tara raised her bow, "That thing is huge. Be careful, Ricky."

The giant mutant came straight for me as Tara went off into the distance to shoot her arrows at it.
"Alright Tara, I'll keep this ugly bastard on me," I yelled. "Just fire as many arrows into it as you can."
Tara aimed her bow and fired an arrow at the beast. "Will do, Ricky!"
The giant mutant kept on attacking me with its claws and slamming me with its body. It was a powerful beast. Despite wearing armor and holding a shield, I could still feel the impact. I fought back with my blade as Tara kept firing her arrows at it from the distance.
"Holy shit, this thing is a brute," I yelled to Tara. "It literally cracked a part of my shield."
"Hang in there, Ricky," Tara shouted.

The beast kept its focus on me for a bit longer, but then it finally had enough of getting shot with Tara's arrows and went after her.
"Look out Tara, it's coming straight for you," I yelled.
The giant mutant made its way to Tara and gave her a hard slash across her arm.
Tara put her bow away and equipped her two-handed sword, "Just die already you filthy creature."
"Hold on, Tara, "I'm coming," I yelled as I ran to help her.

I made my way to the beast, and me and Tara were slicing the shit out of it with our swords as it kept on slashing at her.
"I'm trying to get the beast to attack me, but this fucker doesn't wanna leave you alone."
"It's strong and has really sharp claws," she yelled. "I have a few cuts and bruises."
I could see that Tara was getting tired, and I knew I had to act fast.

I took my sword, and with all my might, I struck the giant mutant in the back with a few critical blows, and then it began to attack me again.
"Alright, Tara, I got its attention," I yelled. "Stay back!"
"Thank you, Ricky," she shouted. "I'll fire my arrows at it from the bushes."
As the beast kept following and attacking me, I kept trying to block its attacks with my shield. I continued slashing at it with my blade, and Tara kept firing her arrows into it. The beast showed no signs of giving up. I was badly wounded from its attacks and beginning to get tired.
"This thing just won't give up," I yelled to Tara. "I'm wounded and starting to get tired."
Tara increased her arrow shooting speed, "Hang in there, Ricky. We got this!"
I stopped fighting the beast and began to evade its attacks instead while Tara continued to rapidly fire arrows into it. I tried to run away from it, but it was just too fast. It chased me up to a large rock, and then that's where I blocked the beast's final attack and countered with a powerful strike sending the giant mutant to the ground dead.
"That was pretty damn close, Tara!" I said. "That thing nearly killed me, and then it would have went after you again."
"Yeah, that was pretty close, but we made it, Ricky!" Tara replied. "See, as long as we have each other, we will always make it."
I gave Tara a hug and held her in my arms, "Yup, you got that right."
"You're bleeding badly," Tara said. "Let me put some cloth on your cuts."
"Yeah, that bastard made a mess of me," I replied. "Are you alright? You have a few cuts of your own."
Tara placed pieces of cloth on my wounds. "They're just little cuts. I'll survive."
"Alright, let's rest for a bit," I said. "Afterwards, we should probably continue heading back to Felicia."
"Sounds good to me, Ricky." Tara replied.

Well, me and Tara just finished up with our rest. We're just gathering our equipment, and then we're gonna continue heading back to Felicia. Once we get back, I'm thinking that me and Tara should just take it easy and focus on building our house for a little while.
