Another Round of Resource Gathering

After me and Tara returned to Felicia from giant turtle hunting, we discussed the next steps that we needed to take in order to begin working on some proper armor. We needed to build a tannery to process hide into leather, and we needed to build a tanner's table so that we can process any pelts we acquire into hide. We also needed to build an armorer's bench so that we can actually make the armor. Most importantly, all of these things required materials in order to create them. So, Me and Tara spent some more time gathering resources.
One of the materials that we needed was twine, and harvesting plant fiber to make it was a really big hassle. I ended up using some of the iron that we had to make an iron sickle to help make the process much easier.
"Look at how well this sickle gathers plant fiber, Tara," I said. "It would have taken forever to get this amount of fiber by hand."
"I know," she replied. "Having the proper tools just makes things so much easier."

After harvesting a fair amount of plant fiber and processing it into twine, me and Tara moved on to chop down trees to gather wood.
"I think the next tool that needs to be made is an iron hatchet," I said to Tara. "These stone axes are doing the job, but I think an iron hatchet would be a much better tool to use to cut these trees down with."
"I agree with you, Ricky," she replied. "These stone axes are barely even sharp at all."

Me and Tara continued to gather wood for a little while more, and then we moved on to stone.
"Take a rest, Tara," I said. "I'll finish up with the stone gathering."
"It's okay, Ricky," she replied. "We'll get more work done with two of us gathering."

After gathering stone for a little while, me and Tara finally had enough resources to build an armorer's bench. Now, we're just heading back to the crafting building so that I can begin crafting it. We'll gather more resources for the tannery and tanner's table later.
