Gathering, Crafting, and Cute Turtles!

Well, it's a new day in this so-called world of the future. Me and Tara gathered some resources to make myself some clothes, to make some tools, and to build the shelter with. The shelter is in the beginning stages, but it's getting there. I also spotted some cute turtles on the beach across from us.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Sunshine!" Tara teased as she kept poking me with her finger to wake me up.

I rolled over on my side, "Hey, Tara. Good afternoon."

"I prepared us some leftover alien rabbit for lunch," Tara said.

"Thank you," I replied while I tried not to think about how awful tasting it was.

After me and Tara finished up with lunch, we gathered some materials that I could use to make myself some clothes.

It took a lot of effort, but I managed to create some pants, gloves, and shoes out of the materials that me and Tara gathered.

"Not bad," I said to Tara. "I've never made clothes before. They turned out better than I thought they would."

"Looking good, but I really liked looking at your naked body all day yesterday," Tara said with a smile across her face.

"Heh! It's funny how you got to look at me naked all day yesterday, but I didn't get to look at you naked!" I replied.

Tara laughed and gave me a wink.

After talking for a bit, me and Tara did some more resource gathering. With the resources that we gathered, I was able to create a stone hatchet and some stone foundation which I used to start building some shelter.

"Well, I gotta say that we're making some good progress," I said to Tara.

"I agree, Richard," she replied. "Really though, where did you learn to become such a handyman?"

I placed a piece of stone foundation on the ground next to the other pieces, and then I went to stand by Tara, "The truth is that I'm mostly just figuring stuff out as I go."

The resources were running out, and me and Tara had already gathered everything we could find in the small area around us. So, I decided to go for a swim to get to another piece of land to see if I could find any more materials. To my amazement, I could see all of these turtle-like creatures on the beach.

I turned back to let Tara know about the turtle-like creatures that I saw. She was like, "How cute." I admit that they did look pretty cute. They also looked pretty harmless too.

Well, I'm gonna take another swim to get to the beach. Hopefully, I can find enough resources to finish the shelter.
