Me and Tara got up early today to begin our hide expedition. We first traveled down the shore in the opposite direction of turtle beach, and we encountered a giant alligator.

"Let's take it down," I said to Tara.

Tara aimed her bow at the giant alligator. "Ready to fire!"

While I was slashing the alligator with my sword and blocking its attacks with my shield at close range, Tara was firing her arrows at it from the distance. The beast's life was short-lived.

"Good work, Tara," I said. "Let's process this alligator and start heading towards Turtle Beach. This area seems like a dead end."

Thanks, Ricky," she replied. "I would like to note though that we'll have to do more processing on this reptile hide in order to get any use out of it."

"Yeah, that's why I feel hunting the giant turtles would be our best choice. Their hide can easily be processed into leather," I said. "There's also a lot of deer around here that we could hunt."

"Don't even think about, Ricky!" Tara said as she gave me an evil eye.

"Just kidding," I replied as I laughed.

Me and Tara turned around and started heading towards Turtle Beach. We spotted a couple of giant turtles and hunted them down.

"A nice catch," I said to Tara. "We produced quite a bit of hide from them."

"That makes one gator and two turtles," she replied.

"We're getting there!" I said.

Me Tara continued down the path to Turtle Beach, and we slew and processed a couple of gators on the way. We ended up making a turn which led up a hill. There were lots of deer around us, but I knew Tara would be very angry with me if something happened to them. So, I ignored them and we continued walking up the hill until something spotted my eye. It looked like a deer, but a very odd-looking deer.

"That is one odd-looking deer," I said to Tara as I approached it. "It looks different than the others."

The deer spotted me and instantly became aggressive. It was acting as if it were possessed.

"This ain't no cute friendly deer, Tara," I yelled as the deer started attacking me with its antlers. "It has to die!"

Tara fired an arrow at the aggressive deer and hit it on its side. "You don't have to tell me that, Ricky!"

After a few slashes with my sword and several of Tara's arrows sticking out of it, the deer fell to the ground dead.

"You know, Tara, that deer kinda reminds me of that hyena we encountered just before claiming Felicia," I said as I finished processing the dead deer. "Both of these creatures looked different than their species."

"I know," she replied. "They are darker, bigger, and more aggressive than the rest of their species."

Me and Tara had taken a little break, and then we continued on with our hide expedition. We hunted down two giant hyenas and processed them for their pelts which we could turn into hide later. Now, we're just heading back to Felicia.
