Me and Tara Pondering

After gathering some more resources for the shelter, I came back to our camp to take a break for a bit. Me and Tara did some talking and pondering on this whole situation.

"Tara, I just remembered something," I said. "Do you remember how the voice said that I have the power to control time?"

"Now that you brought it up, I do recall hearing that," she replied.

I placed my hand on my beard, "Was it the portal, or was it me who brought us here? Maybe it was a combination of both."

"We'll never know for sure, but maybe there's another portal somewhere in this world and time that can possibly bring us back to Willow Creek in 1994," Tara said.

"It's possible. We'll have to keep a close watch out for one," I replied. "Now that we have a source of water and a bit of food, we should probably continue searching the area for Genevieve, Stephon, and Brian to see if they're here too once we finish building some shelter."

"We should also probably keep track of where we're going, or we're going to end up getting lost from the camp," Tara said. "Do you have any apps on your smartphone that we could use to map where we're going?"

I grabbed my smartphone to check what apps I had on it, "Actually, I do. I have an app called SmartMap. The description says it can be set to automap."

"Great! That will come in handy, Tara said."

I turned on the app's automap feature, and it immediately scanned the area around us and stored the information in its database. The app also has a function to place labels and icons.

Well, we're gonna finish building the shelter, and then it's time to explore the area in hopes of finding Genevieve, Stephon, and Brian. I'm assuming that they're most likely here because they probably entered through the portal less than a minute after me and Tara did.
