Me and Tara's Armor

After all of the resource gathering and many days of hard work, I finally did it! I forged me and Tara some armor.

"Tara, come here, hunny bunny!" I yelled outside the door to the building. "I have something to show you!"

Tara stopped what she was doing and came inside. When she saw the armor that I crafted for us, her eyes glimmered.

"Ricky!" She shouted with much excitement in her voice. "You did it!"

"This armor set is yours," I said. "What do you think?"

Tara looked at the armor and smiled. "It looks beautiful. You did such a good job."

"Thanks, Tara. I'm glad that you like it." I replied. "However, it's not as beautiful as you are."

Tara wrapped her arms around me and gave me a kiss, "My handyman."

Me and Tara put on our armor and went outside.

"You look so good in that armor, Tara," I said. "How does it feel? Does it fit?"

"I think it's a little bit on the heavier side, but it's nothing I can't handle," Tara replied. "Also, it fits perfectly. I love the armor!"

"Nice, I'm glad that it works for you, Tara," I said. "I'm liking my armor too."

"It's nice to finally have something that will protect us from whatever may attack us," Tara replied.

"Yeah, less scratches and scrapes," I said as I laughed.

I quickly went back inside to grab one of the shields that I also finished up with our armor. I came back outside and showed Tara the shield.

"I almost forgot to show you the shields," I said to Tara. "This one is mine. Yours is still inside."

"That looks a lot better and more protective than that little wooden one that you were using before," she replied. "I don't know if I want to use a shield though, Ricky. With my bow, sword, and armor, I think it might be too much to carry."

"Yeah, I think you might be right, Tara," I said. "That would be a lot to carry."

Me and Tara stood and talked for a little while about our plans, and we decided that we were gonna continue building Felicia over the next few days.

"I guess we'll continue building the castle for the next few days, or did you wanna work on other buildings?" I asked Tara.

"I think working on the castle would probably be the best idea right now," she replied. "However, I would really love to start working on our house sometime soon as well."

"Yeah, I wanna start on the house too. Maybe we can do that next time then," I said. "Also, Tara, let me get a picture of you in that armor. You just look so beautiful in it."

Tara winked at me. "Go for it, Ricky!"

I took out my phone and took a picture of Tara in her armor. As I was looking at the photo, I just couldn't help but think about how beautiful and heroine-like she looked.

"Here you are, babe," I said as I showed Tara the photo of her on my phone. "You are beautiful."

Tara pulled me close to her and placed a kiss on my cheek. "I love you so much, Ricky."

Well, I'm so glad that I finally finished up with me and Tara's armor. With all of the dangerous creatures and violent bandits out there, the armor was something that we desperately needed. Our next plan is to continue building Felicia for the next few days which will also involve a lot more material gathering. Sometime soon though, we're gonna have to continue on with our search for Genevieve, Stephon, and Brian.
