After sleeping for a bit, me and Tara got up, prepared our equipment and provisions, and then we continued on with our search for Genevieve, Stephon, and Brian.

"This is a pretty early start for some searching," I said to Tara. "Keep your eyes open for danger."

"I would've rather began searching during the daytime, but it's okay," she replied.

"Let's try exploring southeast of Felicia today," I said.

"Sounds good to me, Ricky," Tara replied.

Me and Tara were walking down the shoreline, and we saw a couple of bandits being attacked by a giant alligator. We ignored the fight and just continued walking.

As me and Tara continued to walk down the shoreline, we saw a man by a campfire looking at us. We tried talking to him from the distance, but he never replied. I'm guessing he probably didn't understand English.

"Well, I don't think he's gonna respond," I said to Tara. "He probably doesn't understand a thing we're saying to him."

"At least he's not attacking us," Tara replied. "We should probably keep our distance though."

"Yeah, let's just keep moving," I said.

After trying to communicate with the man at the campfire, me and Tara were ready to continue moving, but a few giant turtles swarmed the area. To protect the man's life, Tara started shooting her arrows at the beasts. I joined in on the combat and started attacking them with my sword at close range. Together, me and Tara took down each turtle one by one. We processed them, and then we continued to move down the shoreline.

It was beginning to get light out. Me and Tara were talking as we traveled down the shoreline.

"Walking down this shore reminds me of our Trip to Sulani," I said to Tara. "Man that place was so beautiful."

"I remember the spot in Sulani where you proposed to me," Tara replied. "It was nighttime, under the stars, and by the ocean. You really did pick the perfect time and spot to propose, Ricky."

I grabbed Tara's hand, "I'm just glad that you said yes, Tara."

Tara smiled and was about to give me a kiss, but she was interrupted by something.

Tara pointed her finger. "A giant alligator is just up ahead, Ricky."

"Alight, let's take it out," I said. "You shoot it with your bow, and I'll slice it down with my blade."

Me and Tara attacked the giant alligator and quickly put an end to its life.

"Good work, Tara." I said. "It still continues to amaze on how accurate you are with that bow."

Tara winked and blew me a kiss, "Thanks, Ricky."

Me and Tara continued walking further down the shoreline. We encountered and slew another giant turtle. We walked a little further and stopped. In the distance was a much larger and darker giant turtle. It reminded me of the larger and darker hyena and the larger and darker deer that we encountered a while ago. I told Tara that we should probably find a way around it rather than attacking it. She agreed with me, and we decided to head to the cliffs so that we can climb them to get around the beast.

As I reached the top of the cliff, I heard a noise. I saw Tara firing arrows at a normal giant turtle.

"Are you alright down there," I yelled to Tara.

"I'm fine," she yelled back. "The turtle just got a little too close to me."

I began to climb back down from the cliff, "Hold on. I'm coming to help you, Tara. Just try and not grab the attention of that darker-looking turtle."

I reached the bottom of the cliff and joined Tara in combat with the turtle. As soon as I landed my first strike on the beast, it fell to the ground dead.

"I guess you didn't really need my help," I laughed.

"I'm a big girl, Ricky," she giggled. "I can take care of myself!"

I laughed again. "Show off!"

Me and Tara made our way around the darker-looking giant turtle. We were walking down a path and heard a beast's grunt. We looked around us but couldn't see anything, so we continued to walk down the path and ended up disturbing a turtle's nest. Suddenly, three giant turtles were chasing Tara. They had her surrounded by the cliffs. I ran to help her, and we slew and processed the beasts.

As me and Tara were ready to move forward with our search for our friends, I stopped to look at a strange-looking figure in the distance.

"What the hell is that thing?" I said to Tara as I pointed my finger.

"What a strange-looking creature," she replied. "It's humanoid."

"Look at it attacking those giant turtles," I said. "The turtles seem to have the upper hand though."

ree

After watching that humanoid figure attacking the giant turtles, me and Tara decided to head back to the cliffs and take a little rest.

Out of all of the exploring we did so far, we still haven't found our friends or any clues as to if they're even here. Me and Tara are not gonna give up though because I believe there's a good chance that they are most likely here.
